Effective September 1, 2020, Yes-co and SCOPE FinTech Solutions have entered into a partnership to integrate the CDD On Demand platform into Yes-co's software for brokers. This makes Yes-co the first vendor to offer an integrated solution for brokers to comply with Wwft and Sanctions Act.
Easy compliance with Wwft and Sanctions Act
Like other so-called gatekeepers, brokers also have obligations under the Wwft and Sanctions Act. By entering into the partnership and realizing an integrated solution, Yes-co can expand its software with a new module that helps customers comply with the obligations of the Wwft and Sanctions Act. This offers customers the advantage of using their familiar Yes-co software in a very user-friendly way:
- Be able to enter and/or update relationship data based on current Chamber of Commerce data
- Be able to screen and verify clients under the Wwft and Sanctions Act and archive the result in the form of a certified pdf document in the client records
- Be able to conduct UBO investigations for corporate clients including underlying CoC extracts, resulting in a certified UBO investigation report reflecting the findings.
From its focus and specialism, SCOPE Fintech Solutions takes care of continuously improving the delivered product, developing new product components and features, monitoring laws & regulations, and implementing necessary adjustments for this, so that Yes-co can focus on the core of its own software for brokers.
Broad collaboration
In addition to integrating software components, Yes-co and SCOPE Fintech Solutions will also work closely together in informing and supporting clients in implementing and using the software. Various offices in the market have indicated a keen interest in the new module, however, a great deal of awareness and explanation is required within the entire market segment regarding compliance with the Wwft and Sanctions Act and what this entails. To this end, Yes-co and SCOPE will launch a campaign after the technical integration of the software is complete and the module is available to customers through the Yes-co Appstore.
If you are a real estate agent and are interested in this new solution or would like to start using it, stay informed by putting yourself on the Wwft watchlist and Yes-co will make sure you are contacted when the product is available.
