The SCOPE KYC Cloud solution is hosted in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. Your client’s data will be stored in protected partition within the SCOPE KYC Cloud database.

Security as foundation

The security of the information stored within the SCOPE KYC Cloud solution is a core principle in the design of the KYC solution. All known aspects of security have been built in. Clients can opt to use two-factor authentication with the SCOPE KYC Cloud solution.  This security measure prevents the brute-forcing of passwords.

Microsoft Azure

The Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform is ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified. ISO 27001 is an ISO standard for information security. This international norm is applied in all sorts of organisations. This norm specifies requirements for the establishment, implementation, execution, monitoring, reviewing, supporting and improving a documented Information Security Management System (ISMS) with regard to the general risks for the organisation. As a Cloud provider, Microsoft Azure is also committed to meeting the 2018 General Data Protection Regulation. The data stored in the SCOPE KYC Cloud solution stay in Western Europe, in a Microsoft Azure Cloud datacentre in Amsterdam. DNB has reached an agreement with Microsoft Azure about including the right to audit in standard contracts. SMT will also include this clause in the standard terms of use of the SCOPE KYC Cloud solution.
