The <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.belastingdienst.nl\/wps\/wcm\/connect\/bldcontentnl\/berichten\/nieuws\/vanaf-1-januari-2026-btwwft-en-beh-worden-dienst-financieel-economische-Integriteit-dfei\">Financial and Economic Integrity Service (DFEI)<\/a><\/strong><\/span> wordt dan het centrale aanspreekpunt voor toezicht, handhaving en opsporing op het gebied van integriteit binnen het financi\u00eble stelsel. Wat betekent deze verandering voor u en uw organisatie? De oprichting volgt uit de wens om niet-fiscale taken, zoals het toezicht op witwassen en terrorismefinanciering, buiten de Belastingdienst te plaatsen. DFEI neemt de taken over van het Bureau Toezicht Wwft en het Bureau Economische Handhaving. Hiermee ontstaat een gespecialiseerde dienst die zich volledig richt op het voorkomen en bestrijden van witwassen, terrorismefinanciering en overtreding van sanctiemaatregelen, vooral bij niet-financi\u00eble en niet-juridische poortwachters zoals makelaars, taxateurs, domicilieverleners en trustkantoren.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d925d70 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d925d70\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What will DFEI do?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-54d2a58 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"54d2a58\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>DFEI will have three main departments:<\/p><ol><li><strong>AML Supervision: <\/strong>Focused on supervision and enforcement at gatekeepers that fall under the AML.<\/li><li><strong>UBO and economic enforcement: <\/strong>Focus on transparency of ownership structures and enforcement of the UBO (Trust) register.<\/li><li><strong>Professional expertise, business operations, and strategy:<\/strong> Support and development of policy, processes, and strategy.<\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The tasks of DFEI are broad and far-reaching. DFEI kiest voor een risicogebaseerde aanpak: het doel is om een omgeving te cre\u00ebren waarin onbewuste overtredingen worden voorkomen en het voor instellingen makkelijker wordt om aan de regels te voldoen. Tegelijkertijd zal DFEI streng optreden als instellingen bewust regels overtreden of frauderen.
